Mac mini (M1, 2020) vs Mac mini: should you upgrade?

If you're buying new, get the Mac mini. The Mac mini (M1, 2020) is no longer sold by Apple.

Just updated, and the cheapest way into a fast desktop Mac.

The Mac mini is 6 years newer, so it will get software updates for longer and holds its value better. If your Mac mini (M1, 2020) still works well, there's no rush, but don't buy one new.
