Discontinued in March 2022. Apple no longer sells this model.
Should you buy it now?
No. Apple no longer sells the iPad Air (4th generation).
The iPad Air (4th generation) came out in October 2020 at $599. Apple stopped selling it in March 2022, so it gets fewer years of software updates than a current model. If you're buying new, the iPad Air is the model to look at instead, from $599. Buying used can still make sense, but only at a steep discount and with the battery health checked.
