Discontinued in September 2025. Apple no longer sells this model.
Should you buy it now?
No. Apple no longer sells the iPhone 15.
The iPhone 15 came out in September 2023 at $799. Apple stopped selling it in September 2025, so it gets fewer years of software updates than a current model. If you're buying new, the iPhone 17e is the model to look at instead, from $699. Buying used can still make sense, but only at a steep discount and with the battery health checked.
