Discontinued in September 2026. Apple no longer sells this model.
Should you buy it now?
No. Apple no longer sells the iPhone 16 Plus.
The iPhone 16 Plus came out in September 2024 at $899. Apple stopped selling it in September 2026, so it gets fewer years of software updates than a current model. If you're buying new, the iPhone 17e is the model to look at instead, from $699. Buying used can still make sense, but only at a steep discount and with the battery health checked.
