Discontinued in October 2024. Apple no longer sells this model.
Should you buy it now?
No. Apple no longer sells the Mac mini (M2).
The Mac mini (M2) came out in January 2023 at $599. Apple stopped selling it in October 2024, so it gets fewer years of software updates than a current model. If you're buying new, the Mac mini is the model to look at instead, from $899. Buying used can still make sense, but only at a steep discount and with the battery health checked.
