Discontinued in August 2026. Apple no longer sells this model.
Should you buy it now?
No. Apple no longer sells the Mac mini (M4 Pro).
The Mac mini (M4 Pro) came out in November 2024 at $1,399. Apple stopped selling it in August 2026, so it gets fewer years of software updates than a current model. If you're buying new, the Mac mini is the model to look at instead, from $899. Buying used can still make sense, but only at a steep discount and with the battery health checked.
