Discontinued in March 2025. Apple no longer sells this model.
Should you buy it now?
No. Apple no longer sells the Mac Studio (M2 Ultra).
The Mac Studio (M2 Ultra) came out in June 2023 at $3,999. Apple stopped selling it in March 2025, so it gets fewer years of software updates than a current model. If you're buying new, the Mac Studio is the model to look at instead, from $2,499. Buying used can still make sense, but only at a steep discount and with the battery health checked.
