Should you buy it now?
No. Apple no longer sells the MacBook Air 15-inch (M4).
The MacBook Air 15-inch (M4) came out in March 2025 at $1,199. Apple stopped selling it in March 2026, so it gets fewer years of software updates than a current model. If you're buying new, the MacBook Air is the model to look at instead, from $1,099. Buying used can still make sense, but only at a steep discount and with the battery health checked.
