iPad (9th generation) vs iPad: should you upgrade?

If you're buying new, get the iPad. The iPad (9th generation) is no longer sold by Apple.

An update to the standard iPad is expected soon.

The iPad is 4 years newer, so it will get software updates for longer and holds its value better. If your iPad (9th generation) still works well, there's no rush, but don't buy one new.
