Discontinued in October 2026. Apple no longer sells this model.
Should you buy it now?
No. Apple no longer sells the HomePod mini.
The HomePod mini came out in November 2020 at $99. Apple stopped selling it in October 2026, so it gets fewer years of software updates than a current model. If you're buying new, the HomePod mini 2 is the model to look at instead, from $149. Buying used can still make sense, but only at a steep discount and with the battery health checked.
